First time buyers have never experienced the tax deductions of interest and property taxes. We know what we know and what we don't know....soooo we refer buyers to an accountant who can show them in black and white...how they can change their exemptions and increase their take home pay rather than have the government use their money and get a larger tax refund. There are some people we know who choose to have the government be their "piggy bank" and use their refund for a large purchase because they don't trust themselves to be able to save the amount they are refunded. Do whate
ver works..but know the advantages of both ways and weigh them before deciding. This is a good example of going to the "highest and best source" for information on being big decisions.
